Most beautiful springs flowers
Daffodil
These classic spring bulbs, which must be planted in the fall in order to bloom into spring, are one of the first signs that spring has finally arrived! Its cheerful yellow flowers are very reliable.
Primerose
Primroses appear in early spring in a rainbow of colors including white, canary yellow, deep purple and pink. They are easy-care perennials, often blooming when there is snow on the ground.
Tulip
Tulip bulbs should be planted in the fall for spring color. They are technically perennials, but often fade after the first year, so they are considered annuals and are planted every year.
Grape hyacinth
These tiny bulbs, which you plant in fall to bloom in spring, naturalize fairly easily, so you start with a few and end up with a full swath of grape hyacinth in a few years. They are not bothered by rodents and their cheerful purple, pink or blue flowers last for weeks.
Rhododendron
Rhododendron has glossy leaves and blooms in shades of white, salmon, peach, pink and purple in late spring. There are evergreen and deciduous (dropping their leaves) varieties, so read the plant's label or description to be sure of what you're buying.
Do not forget me
Chances are you've seen mazes (also known as Myosotis sylvatica) every spring, as they appear in shades of pink and blue this season (or sometimes summer).
