Gerbera flower is the fifth most popular flower in the world.



They were cultivated in North America in the early 1920s, while the Netherlands produces about 900 million of these flowers a year. Gerbera flowers belong to the Asteraceae family, a family similar to sunflowers and daisies.

Double gerbera daisy

These double-petaled flowers include not only double, but also crested and full-crested varieties. They have one or more rows of petals, called ray flowers, and a compact cluster of disc flowers in the center.

Apricot gerbera

Native to South Africa, it is the perfect ornamental plant and is quite large, enjoying a lovely apricot pink color, the petals are trimmed to pale yellow with golden yellow centers.


Gerbera Hybrida (Orange Gerbera Daisy)

An attractive bright orange color, this flower is large and showy and, depending on the growing region, is classified as a perennial and ornamental plant. It is stunning when placed in a vase or bouquet, and its bright orange petals always demand attention, no matter where they are planted.


Gerbera Jamesoni Transvaal Daisy

With striking bright orange petals and yellow trim, this flower is native to South Africa and is a tender perennial with petals that are quite large.

Ggerbera jamesoni

Native to South Africa, this flower has sparse, very thin, bright red and fairly large petals. It makes a beautiful border mainly because of its attractive red color, and it also looks great on vases and containers.


Gerbera Spider Daisy

This flower has scattered spider-shaped flowers in a beautiful shade of yellow that reach 3.5 inches across. It is an ornamental plant that looks beautiful as a cut flower, and its large, bright green leaves make the yellow color even more so.


White gerbera

The plant grows up to 1 foot tall and has creamy white petals and a small circle of ivory-yellow petals around a dark center. It is a perennial plant that grows quite large and grows best in full sun or partial shade.
