How long have we kept wine after opening?

Wine is for healthy skin and hair also

The shelf life of wine after opening depends on how light or heavy the wine is, but most wines keep between three and five days.
  • Light rosé and white wine: Light rosé and white wine, such as Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sweet Riesling, last 5 to 7 days in the refrigerator when corked. These wines can be drunk for up to a week, but you may notice that the fruity flavor of the wine soon begins to fade.
  • Full-bodied white wines: Full-bodied white wines, such as Chardonnay, Muscat, and Viognier in oak, last 3-5 days in the refrigerator when corked.
  • Sparkling Wine: Sparkling wine begins to lose its carbonation soon after opening and lasts for 1-3 days in the refrigerator when corked. The traditional method puts extreme pressure on sparkling wines such as Cava, Champagne and Franciacorta.
  • Light red wines: Light reds like Pinot Noir, Lambrusco, and Gamay last 2-3 days when kept in a cool, dark place.
  • Medium Red Wines – Medium reds like Merlot, Nebbiolo and Cabernet Franc last longer than light reds due to their higher tannin and alcohol content and are corked and stored in a cool place and dark for 3-5 days.
